World Stars Football Match

On Tuesday 21st May, Nazionale Piloti is back to Louis II Stadium in Monaco for 2019 World Stars Football Match against Star Team For Children captained by Prince Albert II.
Live on the Italian Sky Sport F1 HD, on streaming on sport.sky.it and on the Sky Sport F1 HD Facebook page, the event started with a minute of silence for Niki Lauda passed away on the same day of the match and for Max Biaggi’s dad Pietro who died a few days ago.
A strong support from the local supporters to all drivers, especially to the Monaco driver of Scuderia Ferrari Charles Leclerc, Red Bull Racing’s Pierre Gasly, Felipe Massa (Formula E and former Formula One driver), Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo), Carlos Sainz (McLaren), Sergio Perez (Racing Point), Riccardo Patrese (1992 Formula One Runner-up), Maro Engel (Race 2 winner of the first ever Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe in Brands Hatch) and Lando Norris (McLaren) at the stadium to support his teammate.
Some FIA Formula 2 Championship drivers joined the show: Mick Schumacher (Prema Racing), Nyck de Vries (ART Grand Prix), Sean Gelael (Prema Racing), Luca Ghiotto (Uni-Virtuosi Racing), Louis Delétraz (Carlin) and Juan Manuel Correa (Sauber Junior Team).
Some more drivers from other categories were up at the event including Riccardo Agostini (Race 2 winner of the Italian GT Championship in Vallelunga), Giovanni Altoè (TCR Championship DSG), Giacomo Altoè (European GT Open Championship) and Vito Popolizio (Formula 3000 and Formula 2000 driver), the footballers Sandro Cois, Davide Mezzanotti, Marco Gorzegno, Raffaele Baido, Nicola Caccia, Alex Mojovic, in addition to the goalkeepers Maicol Murano and Thomas Rys.
Not only Princes Albert II. With the Star Team for Children, some Italian famous stars came to the match including Max Biaggi, Ezio Greggio, Flavio Roma, the ski world champion Dominik

Paris, the rider Ezio Gianola, Mario Isola (Pirelli).
The match finished 2-3 for the Princes’ team: Sandro Cois scored two goals while Giovinazzi made a fantastic goal but was then unfairly cancelled… After the end of the match the prize-giving celebration took place with prizes to both teams and the gala dinner officially put the end to the event.
Nazionale Piloti will come back on Wednesday 4th September, just before the Formula One Grand Prix in Monza.
